If you make less than $23,000 a year ($31,000 for married couples), it may be worth applying for “extra help” with medication costs.

 

You can also get free personalized health insurance counseling with your local State Health Insurance Assistance Program (SHIP). SHIPs aren’t connected to any insurance companies or health plans and can help you with:
